The cute tyke who practically stole the show from the colorful Cisco Oliver in the popular TV commercial of Alaska milk. And except for the increase in height and weight, still has that charisma that has made him a darling among television viewers. His soft, long and wavy blonde hair is still that rich golden and is fixed the same way it was four Mike is the youngest of the three children of Wilfred Uytengsu of General Milling Company and the former Bonnie Brooks, president of the Women's Board of the Manila Symphony Society. Mike's father is from Dumaguete, while his mother is from Washington DC. His brother Freddie, 15, holds two RP records in swimming.. His sister is Candy, 12, whom he is very close to.The Forbes Park resident is a fifth grader at the International School, and is a consistent honor student. "He was even accelerated," the proud Mom beamed. Mike speaks Spanish, English and Tagalog. An acting bug, he was recently involved in a school Spanish play. Like the typical youngster whose zest for the active life is almost im- measurable, Mike indulges in, hold" your breath, soccer, tennis, skating, bowling, swimming and badminton. "But Mike despite his tiring sporty life never misses his regular school chores at home. He brushes on his homeworks at least two hours a day," the Mommy said. Mike spends a lot of his free time at the Manila Polo Club and the Makati Sports Club where the Uytengsus are active members.
