Birthday Greeting to Sir Arturo 'Bay' Cristobal ( Nov 24 )

Arturo Cristobal, the intense recruit from the champion APCOR team. Only 24 years old this coming Nov. 24, the 6-1, 170 lbs. guard-forward from out of Far Eastern University, has made his way to the frontlines of the winningest team of the land and he had been given by coach Baby Dalupan enough exposure in three games to accustom himself in the world of the pros. This Zamboanga City lad is one of the very few cage stars Zamboanga from Mindanao for that matter. From Zamboanga City, he was recruited by FEU and then transferred to APCOR where his coach and namesake, Arturo Valenzona, was coaching in the MICAA. From there he played for the national team but was let go when Danding Cojuangco and Hermie Disini had a clash of ideas about how the national players should behave. 

Then when APCOR was disbanded, Cristobal went to Crispa then journeyed to teams like Shell, Purefoods and ending his career at Presto Tivoli in 1991
