Happy Birthday, Timoteo Coloso ( Jan 24 )
1. Happy Birthday, Timoteo Coloso ( Jan 24 )

He was in such a great rush that he gave up playing Junior basketball and instead went directly to the senior ranks. For two years (1978 and 1979), he was one of the Grand Knights of Letran College in the NCAA. 'Superboy', they say he was. He had the moves of a Jaworski and that made critics predict that Tim Coloso would go a long, long way. And then, Tim rushed things again. After only two years in the NCAA, he left Letran to play for Yco in the MCAA. When Yco disbanded, he transferred to Solidmills. His stint in the amateur commercial leagues lasted for only two years. It seemed that Tim was following a timetable. After two years in the NCAA and two years in the MICAA, Tim finally barged into the professional loop in 1982. And he wasn't taken in by just any ordinary team. Tim signed a three-year pact with one of the two top squads in the PBA-the Toyota Super Corollas.
