SAMIGUE EMAN, University of Mindanao / Born March 12, 1982 / Davao City 6-8, Center, Literally and figuratively, Eman's a huge steal by Alaska from San Miguel. The Aces pulled the heist as SMB was forced to relegate Sam to the unrestricted reserve pool in reactivating Danny Seigle and Danny Ildefonso late in the All-Filipino tourney. Before Alaska came into the picture, SMB was planning to send Eman to Ginebra. The second overall pick in the 2007 draft opted to join Alaska, hoping to get the breaks from coach Tim Cone. Upon his transfer, Sam signed a fresh three-year deal worth around P11 million.
