Barnstorming the NCAA with the JRU Heavy Bombers in college, Hayes was a hot commodity prior to his draft. His decent scoring skills and glass-eating prowess earned the nod of scouts so that he became a prospect even while still committed to his school. He has yet to mount a stellar campaign in the big league though.
