Considered a power cager from the Visayas, this former Mama's Love hunk was supposed to play for Shell way back in 1989 as he came along with Calvin Tuadles and Romeo dela Rosa. But because Shell's roster was full, he was asked to wait in line for a year. His time came last season and he was finally signed up by the Turbo Chargers. The least exposed among the Turbo Chargers, he averaged five minutes in 16 games. Sat out the All-Filipino Conference as he was placed on the reserved list. Ended up with 1.2 points and 12 rebounds overall. Good looks is one of his assets but he can be molded into the likes of an Abe King if given the proper exposure and motivation.
