The RP youth campaigner is not seeing much action with the Solidenims. A wily guard who can shoot from medium range, the slim-bullt but poised former Adamson Junior is also a heady lane man. Martin had early seasoning with Builder's Choice and MAN Diesel. One of the six MAN cagers to be with coach Nat Canson when Solld acquired the one-time national mentor, many are quite surprised why Martin is not being utilized as he should be. If Barreiro seemed slowly sinking into oblivion, Martin was almost there after only two seasons in pro ball. He had three games more than his two-game debut in 1982 and his playing time of 48:40 was the least among the Rhum Makers. On court, he was never the old crack amateur. He posted a total of 14 points, seven assists and three rebounds.
