RODOLFO LALOTA
Probably the most underrated player in the Beermen line-up. Rudy's unorthodox style of play was at its best this season and installed him as one of the frontliners on the squad. His semi- hook shot, taken way out from his body, pulled San Miguel time and again out of tight situations. And the 6'3", 27-year-old center- forward has finally learned to control his temper which has plagued his game in five years. as a pro. Rudy's stretching lay-ups, short jumpers and under the basket sallies make him a formidable foe in the lane. A native of Sta. Cruz, Laguna, Rudy previously played for the MIT, ITM and Manila Bank amateur clubs and represented the country in the 1976 Singapore Pesta Sukan Games and 1977 Malaysia Genting Hi-Land Basketball Invitationals.
