HE was an unheralded guard picked up in the second round of the rookie draft by Tanduay who, to the surprise of the coaching staff, even outshone some of the players the Rhum Masters directly brought up from their PBL squad. A former standout in Chowking's PBL team,Alforque readily earned the confidence of coach Al Chua for his hardnosed defense, boundless energy and a willingness to do whatever it takes to help his team win.
