PAT CODINERA Born March 9, 1970, Manila 191 cms., 86.2 kgs. Guard-Forward, The youngest among the three playing Codineras, Pat got the shock of his life when nobody picked him during the 1993 amateur draft. But instead of melting in shame and feeling bad about the whole thing, Pat took everything in stride and felt a lot challenged. He made it to the Ginebra roster as a rookie free agent and finally got to see action towards the end of the All-Filipino when playing coach Robert Jaworski fell injured. He distinguished himself as a tireless defender although on offense, he still should learn to choose his shots. Pat played for Far Eastern University in the UAAP and Swift in the PBL. Elder brother Harmon once saw action for Ginebra while another brother, Jerry, is with Coney Island.
