TRIVIA: After his basketball career, Dave entered showbiz and had numerous movies with the late FPJ mostly villain roles.
Dave was also a golfer and was the team captain of the Philippine Team during the 2010 World Golfers Championship in Thailand.
He is the father of former NU, La Salle Greenhills and San Beda Coach Anthony "Anton" Brodette. Also a former coach of UE Junior Warriors and Perpetual.
Dave brother Henry played for Crispa in 1979 (MICAA).
