Born April 17, 1956. 6-3, 170 lbs. Forward-Guard
This lean frontliner has the makings of an effective scorer with his reliable flips and penetrations. Last year, he pumped in eight points per game, came down with a total of 78 rebounds and set up his teammates 28 times. One of the few tall players who can also man the backcourt, he needs a little more time to adjust to the rigors of the pro league and regain the touch that made him a high-scoring amateur stand-out. A product of the NCAA, this former Letran Knight has the height and shooting arm to make it in the big league. He's shown a lot of promise as a gunner in set plays which culminate in his taking the medium-distance jumper. A few more years of seasoning should round off his game. A former National Youth (1977), tall and willing. But like Alolor, often guilty of forcing his shots. Needs consistency to achieve regular starter status. Reliable off the boards although overall defense still needs shoring.
