S87 Cheerdance: Cheer Squads Ready to Shine at 2024 UAAP Cheerdance Competition

The much-anticipated 2024 UAAP Cheerdance Competition, presented by MAX, will take place on Sunday, December 1, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The event will showcase the incredible skills and determination of the country's finest collegiate cheer squads as they perform in front of a sold-out crowd.

As the defending champions, the Far Eastern University Cheering Squad will take the final performance slot, closing out the day with their quest for back-to-back titles and a record-breaking 22nd podium finish.

The competition will kick off with the Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles, followed by the University of the East Pep Squad and the legendary eight-time champion, University of Santo Tomas Salinggawi Dance Troupe.

Adamson University will complete the first half of the program, and the second half will begin with the University of the Philippines Varsity Pep Squad, followed by the National University Pep Squad, who are determined to reclaim the championship.

De La Salle Animo Squad will perform next before the defending champions, FEUCS, conclude the thrilling event.

“We’ve officially entered that time of the year once again where the cheerers of the varsity teams will become the ones cheered. Our cheer squads are fully prepared, bringing their best stunts and routines for an unforgettable show that will bring the UAAP community together,” said UAAP Executive Director Atty. Rene “Rebo” Saguisag Jr.

The competition will be broadcasted LIVE on Free-To-Air via One Sports, on high definition via the UAAP Varsity Channel on Cignal TV, and available for FREE for local and international fans via the Pilipinas Live app.
