VINTAGE ENTERPRISES, INC. began in 1978 with several sports and musical promotions undertaken by Carlos "Bobong" Velez. In 1982, when the PBA was having problems with its coverorback then, Velez and Vintage made a bid for and won the rights to cover the pro league's games.Since then, the PBA and Vintage Sports have been inseparable with the company's current four-year deal set to run until 1997, which would be its 16th year of broadcasting Asia's first professional cage league. Bobong Velez remains active with Vin- tage sports as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Enrique "Ricky" Velez is VEI's President and Chief Oper- ating Officer (COO) while Ronnie Nathanielsz is concurrently the Vice-Presi- dent for Sports and Business Manager. Vintage Sports has a talented and full- time work-force of over 20 executive,      associate and field producers as well as production assistants and directors. Then there are the on-air talents numbering about a dozen or so who are extremely versatile and dedicated.
