Born Dec. 16, 1957. 6-2, 175 lbs. Center.
One of the fresh faces in the PBA, Bing only had his playing experience at UE to fall back on before he joined Gilbey's Gin in April 1979 to become a pro. Owns rare talents, however has quick hands and satisfactory defense which can still be developed with time plus playing experience. Hails from Bugallon, Pangasinan. Played adequate ball too as center in provincial high school.  Already impressive when he started out as a Gin a couple of seasons ago, Bing's game is destined to keep on improving. Alternately manning the keyhole or on the firing line, he averaged 6.4 rebounds, 1.1 blocked shots and 50 field goal shooting last season. He was one of the big reasons for Gilbey's best finish in the All-Filipino last year.

One of the club's old reliables, Bing has continued to improve as a centerforward. Solid position play under the basket and strong legs gave him the distinction of leading his local colleagues in rebounds this season, pulling them down at a 7.7 clip per contest. Offensively, he netted 8 points a game mostly on medium-range jumpers and tip-ins.
