THE FACT THAT ARAÑA LEARNED THE BASICS of the game in the Tondo backyards makes no one wonder of his guts and toughness. The team's second-round draft pick never veered from the way he played ball at La Salle, keeping his blue-collar work ethic and indefatigable enthusiasm with the Dragons. The 2007 SEABA Champions Cup veteran was the team's fourth-best local scorer, averaging 8.5 points in the Philippine Cup and 6.9 points in the Fiesta Conference.
