Raymundo was the team's lone draft pick (No. 12 overall), eventu- ally signed up to be the Texters' third-string point guard. The coaching staff fell in love with this ex-SSC Stag for his big fighting heart. He proved he wouldn't back down from anyone as he figured in fisticuffs with Rain or Shine's Jonathan Uyloan in the offseason and with B-Meg's Joe Devance in the season proper. Utilized in 26 games, Raymundo didn't play like the league's youngest rookie at 22, performing with the poise and confidence of a veteran.
