1. Remembering NCC Days - Allan 'Triggerman' Caidic

Because NCC is allowed to use only two of its naturalized players at a time, Jacobs was
forced to field in Jeff Moore and Dennis Still for a higher ceiling. He needed someone
who could fill in the void left by Chip who saw less action and had to sit it out most
of the time. And that someone was Allan Caidic, the acknowledged rifleman of the University
of the East Warriors in the UAAP. Allan Caidic was an outstanding varsity cager.
Twice, he led the UE warriors to victory in the UAAP. In 1982, he was voted Most Valuable Player
by sportswriters who covered the UAAP games eventually won by UE. In the same year,
Allan made it to the RP team that won the championship in the ASEAN Schools basketball tournament.
