After short, uneventful stints with Red Bull and San Miguel, the jump to Purefoods seemed to be the answer to the long, elusive break the once promising big man had been waiting. But hardly things changed for the 6- foot-6 former Far Eastern U stalwart even in a Hotdogs jersey. He didn't get major minutes in coach Ryan Gregorio's frontcourt rotation and lasted only nine games and a total of 53 minutes with the team.
