ROBERT REYES Flagler College, Born March 16, 1983 Bethesda, Maryland 6-5 3/4, Center . Reyes was a preseason series standout whose game didn't prosper in the season proper. He was picked fourth overall in the 2008 draft, a much sought-after prospect back in his amateur days. Teams from the PBA awaited his draft application as early as 2006. He did apply for the draft at the time but his name was scratched from the list when he failed to submit the necessary documents in time. Rob is a nephew of former Pop Cola player Eric Reyes. Things turned rosy for Reyes when he was transplanted from Talk 'N Text to Barako Bull. Among the players considered to be blue chips from the 2009 draft pool, the Flagler College alum got to lay down his cards as the opportunities opened up on his new team. By the second conference, Rob was a fixture in the starting unit. He proved useful with his willingness to bang bodies or mix it up underneath.
